Paul is a technology entrepreneur, CEO and co-founder/creator of AKIPS.
Paul was the Founder/CTO of Statseeker, from 1996 until 2010 when all further innovative R&D was abandoned. Paul was the sole inventor and creator of all Statseeker high performance databases and scalable polling technologies, built solely upon his vast knowledge and experience in the digital electronics, data communications, computer hardware and software sectors.
Paul's career started in electronics and data communications, working in highly specialised technical roles at Philips Data Systems, SITA (the world's leading air transport IT and communications specialists), Scitec (manufacturer of high speed time division multiplexers), Union Bank of Switzerland, and various Australian Government departments.
Paul's 30+ years experience spans from electronics & electro mechanics; large variety of data communications technologies, equipment, & underlying principles; network monitoring & management; and Unix systems & high performance software engineering/programming.

Nick is the CTO and co-founder/creator of AKIPS.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Software Engineering (B.Eng.) from the University of Queensland, specialising in User Experience (Human-computer interaction) and Embedded Systems.
As a qualified and experienced Software Engineer, Nick brings the discipline of software engineering to the entire life cycle of the AKIPS products, from initial proto-typing, design, implementation, regression testing, product quality, and ongoing maintenance.
Nick previously worked at Statseeker until March 2011, as the ONLY qualified and experienced Software Engineer, in a R&D role, working directly under the guidance of Paul Koch (Statseeker CTO/founder).

Mark Birkinshaw has served as the Chief Marketing Officer at AKIPS since its inception. Following AKIPS launch in 2014, Mark is totally focused on securing clients across the globe to adopt AKIPS Network Monitoring Software. Mark is a ‘C’ level executive with international experience in business development, commercialisation, innovation and consulting with over three decades experience across both government and private sector organisations.
Mark was previously State Manager for QMI Solutions’ Product Development Network assisting the likes of Aristocrat Leisure Industries: Campbells-Arnotts, Coca-Cola Amatil, BHP and Ainsworth Gaming Technology, to bring innovative products to market. Mark also looked after the Technology and Innovation user Group program that included demonstration visits to partners such as Sapphicon Semiconductor. Mark developed and managed an Australian Institute of Management training program called “Thinking Strategically about Infrastructure” in partnership with Infrastructure Australia
Mark previously established a number of businesses: an automotive lighting company (Mr Neon™) responsible for the Australian distribution of Street Glow® products and an Australian based computer solutions consultancy (Black & White Computer Solutions).
Mark’s international career includes: deploying British Telecom’s re-branding campaign internationally; working for PricewaterhouseCoopers in London, and; Lehman Brothers whilst under the ownership of American Express.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree and Computer Mapping Certificate from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Town and Country Planning from Sydney University.
Mark also serves on the boards of: Venues NSW (Western Sydney Local Venues Council) responsible for Pirtek Stadium, home of the Western Sydney Wanderers A-League Soccer Team and Parramatta Eels Rugby League Club; Ethnic Communities Council of NSW recently successful in securing the 2015 SBS FECCA World Congress for Sydney, Australia. Previously, Mark was State Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Transport and Logistics Australia.
